The Minneapolis University area comprises the Como, Marcy-Holmes, Prospect Park and University neighborhoods of Southeast Minneapolis on the east side of the Mississippi River as well as the Cedar-Riverside and Nicollet Island neighborhoods on the west side of the Mississippi River.
