Dave Palmer
Dave comes to real estate as a second career, after working for 36 years as a professional Camp Director, and as a leader in non-profit operations. He has supervised staffs ranging in size from 6 to 120 people, acquiring along the way a wealth of knowledge in negotiating with customers, developers and contractors. His experience in construction has been critical for making decisions in multi-million dollar projects. Dave is perhaps most valued as a colleague, friend and mentor. His easy manner and persistence led him to a very successful career in non-profit work, and these qualities have served him well in recent years as a valued agent for River Realty.
Dave is dedicated to providing honest service to all his clients, and wholeheartedly subscribes to River Realty's philosophy that, in order to create "win-win" transactions, facts must be communicated clearly, and both sides of a transaction must be respected.
Locally grown, Dave attended Keewaydin Elementary School, Nokomis Junior High, and Roosevelt High School as well as the University of Minnesota. He enjoys time with family and friends, along with plenty of good food, music and laughter. You may see him exploring the marsh around Meadowbrook Lake, or on his bike exploring parkways and bikeways, or at Bikram Yoga. Not surprisingly, Dave loves camping and often disappears deep into the woods of some state park. But not until after the closing!
