Michele Wiegand
Michele has been a great addition to River Realty. She's a seasoned agent who brings a wealth of experience to our Realtor family, as both a sales agent and citizen. From her immigrant grandmother's experience she learned that home ownership ultimately provides assets that can help finance a business, or pay for a child's education. To help make that reality available for others, she got her real estate license in 1985 and worked for 20 years with PRG, a Minneapolis CDC focused on affordable housing development and buyer education, serving as executive director of that organization for 9 years.
Today Michele enjoys working with buyers and sellers all over the Twin Cities. Her experience makes it possible for her to expertly guide clients through a real estate transaction, but she also knows that a client relationship creates a special ethical responsibility. She believes that, more than ever in this rapidly changing market, clients need honest advice and accurate information to make the right decision.
Michele grew up in St. Paul, and now lives in the Cooper Neighborhood near the river. Away from real estate, she's a long-time clay artist and a Hennepin County Master Gardener who enjoys riding her bike on the Midtown Greenway.
